Burger with Goatscheese and Fig Jam

Burger with Goatscheese and Fig JamIn every gourmet kitchen there is some fast food from times to times, same with us. But with standard burgers like bread, meat, bread again you don’t get me anymore. An intense but meanwhile mild creamy goatscheese in withplay with some sweet fig jam, on the contrary satisfies me waaay more. Generally I think that burgers works best in the contrast of sweet and salty. Because of that I have some kind of an master recipe for all kinds of burger creations. It should be juicy, that part is for the meat and it should be sweet. In our case the fig jam. As a contrast there should be an intense salty taste, often and also today bacon made the choice. Last but not least there should be a fresh touch on the whole burger and I really love rocket salad for that because of it’s intense taste but meanwhile great freshess. And the Burger with Goatscheese and Fig Jam is done! With those 4 main Ingredients every burger should work. The chose of the cheese definetly affects the taste of the whole burger. Personally I think it’s always hard to buy goatscheese, because you don’t know how intense and “goaty” it is. I used Chavraux (mild creamy goatscheese, available in Germany) for this recipe, but you can choose what ever you want of course.
